Porto winger Ricardo Quaresma is set to join Real Madrid in a 25 million euros deal in the summer, according to reports emanating from Portugal.
Diario de Noticias report that an agreement has been reached in principle between the two clubs and that Real Madrid may offer a player in part-exchange so to move closer to Porto's 40 million euros valuation.
This player is likely to be 22-year-old striker Soldado, rated at 12 million euros by the Spanish champions elect, who has had limited opportunities in the Real Madrid first team.
If Soldado does arrive it may suggest that the club are prepard to also listen to offers for the BWinLiga top-scorer Lisandro Lopez.
Porto president Nuno Pinto da Costa has promised Quaresma that he would be allowed to leave the club at the end of this season.
Quaresma, 24, moved to Barcelona ahead of the 2003-2004 campaign from Sporting but did not have a great success at Camp Nou.
